When you break your phone, no matter what, you would need to get it repaired, unless you are going to purchase a new one. There are plenty of things that can be fixed and if the device is still under warranty, then you can get it repaired free of charge, most of the time. However, there are some things that you need to know regarding what is covered and what isn’t. Most often accidental damage, including broken screens, isn’t included, while other manufacturing defects are. Make sure that you find out from the service center if the damage is covered or not since if it isn’t, then you would have to pay for it.
Insurance
Insurance is something good to have, especially if you have a tendency to break your phone and the damage isn’t covered. The insurance would be able to pay for the damage that has been sustained, but you would, again, need to figure out exactly what is covered. You would also need to know exactly how long the coverage is good for, how much it costs and where to take the phone for repairs. This might seem like a silly expense, but it might save you money if you were to break the phone.
